A Year of Growing

We thought you might like to see the past year in review. 

Happy First Birthday Lily!!

 Lillian turned one last week! We are in shock - how has an entire year passed already?!?

She is becoming such a big girl now! She started walking just one week before the big day and we couldn't be more proud. She babbles up a storm and says about 6 words - a growing list daily it seems. She's keeping Mommy and Daddy pretty busy these days!

Jersey Shore - first beach trip of 2012

This past Sunday was a gorgeous day & we took a trip down to Bayhead to visit the Jersey shore.

Visit with an old friend

Kelly's childhood friend Amy was back in NYC for a visit from her new home in California this week. We had the pleasure of spending the absolutely beautiful Sunday afternoon with her in Central Park. We had a little picnic on a hill overlooking the Conservatory Water - where you can rent mini motorize sailboats.

We took a stroll over to the Alice in Wonderland sculpture, where we just HAD to snap some pictures, being that Lily's birthday party is going to be Alice in 'ONEderland' themed!

One of our favorite things in New York City is all the street performers and just amazing entertainment that you will encounter constantly. On our way out of the park we came across this sweet madrigals group singing under a bridge (definitely the best acoustics in the park as Mom Mc will tell you ;) Of course we had to stop and enjoy for a few minutes. 

Mother's Day

Our First Mother's Day as parents was pretty relaxed. We had breakfast out with Mom and Dad Mc and went to the park in the afternoon. Of course on our way Lily fell asleep, so we filled the time until she woke up playing with our new camera.

Washington DC visit

We took a trip down to Virginia for Laurel's baby shower. While there we got to visit with Gandma and Gandpa Brummer, of course, and some dear friends as well. 

On Saturday we visited the National Zoo with our very good friends, Liz & Darren and their baby boy (getting to be not so "baby" anymore!) Brody.
